Toole's Garage is a family owned auto repair shop in San Carlos, California. Its owner, Dave, came to me by referral and wanted my help building a brand that they could have fun with, and that their customers could enjoy for years to come.
Yes, I learned how to make chrome effects with text for this project. Dave wanted a flashy logo that would match the personality of the shop and hint at the shiny metal of the cars they work on.
We worked together on many iterations of the logo, and explored options that fit Dave’s original vision of a cool, slick, but classic and retro vibe.
